Union State parliamentarians to discuss issues of information security and countering foreign interference
Minsk will host a meeting of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia on Security and Defence on October 26th, and deputies will discuss measures to prevent foreign interference through non-profit organisations that are funded from abroad, the Union State Parliamentary Assembly’s press service reports
The meeting at the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus will feature representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, ministries and departments of Belarus and Russia.
The parliamentarians will discuss the concept of the Union State’s information security, also focusing on the existing developments in this field and preparation of programmes of activities of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on Security and Defence.
