Lukashenko: we are satisfied with results of the visit of Premier of China’s State Council Li Qiang

Belarus is satisfied with the results of the visit of Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang to Minsk in August this year – as stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko at today’s meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus, Xie Xiaoyong

The Head of State noted that the trade turnover between Belarus and China reached $8.5 billion last year, and China is the second trading partner of Belarus (behind Russia) according to this indicator.

“We paid very serious attention to the visit of Premier Li Qiang to Belarus. We are satisfied with it,” Aleksandr Lukashenko told the diplomat. “We are currently working very hard in the Government on the development of relations on the issues and problems that were identified during the visit of the Chinese Premier. I really liked that Li Qiang highly appreciated the development of the Great Stone Industrial Park.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko added that Belarus also attaches paramount importance to the development of this facility, “Last year alone, 26 residents joined it, and this indicates the great interest of Chinese producers, and others, in our Great Stone.”
