Belarus’ delegation paid working visit to Azerbaijan
On September 3rd-4th, Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Nazaruk paid a working visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The Belarusian delegation also included representatives of the leadership of the Industry Ministry, the Agriculture and Food Ministry, and the Architecture and Construction Ministry.
In order to discuss topical issues of implementing the agreements of the heads of state, Igor Nazaruk met with Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev, as well as the Food Safety Agency leadership.
The current state and prospects for the development of bilateral co-operation across various fields and interaction on international platforms were discussed with Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov. The issues of preparing and holding a number of joint bilateral and multilateral events in the near future were also considered, with the two sides stressing the need to step up joint efforts to strengthen and develop strategic partnership.
