Ambassador Xie Xiaoyong: co-operation between Belarus, China achieved outstanding results

Over the past four years, co-operation between Belarus and China in various fields has achieved outstanding results – as stated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Xie Xiaoyong, at his today’s meeting with President Aleksandr Lukashenko in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in the republic

The diplomat conveyed warm greetings to the Head of State from Chinese President Xi Jinping, as well as from State Council’s Premier Li Qiang who recently made a successful visit to Belarus.

“I have worked in Belarus for more than 1,400 days – or four years. Over this time, I felt a sincere and truly friendly attitude of Belarusians towards me and the Embassy of China in Belarus. I am proud that I was sent as an ambassador to friendly Belarus and became a witness and participant in the historical process of development of Chinese-Belarusian relations. I am very glad that, over the past four years, co-operation between our countries in various fields has achieved outstanding results. Chinese-Belarusian interaction has reached a new historical height,” Xie Xiaoyong noted.

As stated by the diplomat, over the past four years, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Xi Jinping have held four meetings, outlined a plan and a course of the development of bilateral relations.

“It is thanks to the personal care and under the strategic leadership of the President of the People's Republic of China and the President of Belarus that Chinese-Belarusian relations maintain good dynamics of development and have reached an unprecedented high level: all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership,” Xie Xiaoyong stressed.
