Turkish authorities launched antitrust investigation against Google

A case has been opened in Turkiye against Google, its parent structure and subsidiaries due to the violation of antimonopoly legislation regarding the provision of Internet search services, TASS reports

It is informed that an antitrust investigation is underway against Alphabet Inc., Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited and the Turkish branch of the company.

"The Competition Department has conducted a preliminary investigation on the irregularities carried out by these companies in the search services market in connection with their dominant position," the source said.
