Biden to ask US Congress for extra Ukraine funding

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said President Joe Biden intends to ask the Congress for additional Ukraine funding before leaving the office, RIA Novosti reports
“Over the next 70 days [Biden wants] to make the case to the Congress and to the incoming administration that the United States should not walk away from Ukraine,” Sullivan said at his press briefing.

He added that, on its way out, the Democratic administration sees the reason to earmark Ukraine funding for 2025.
