According to Igor Sergeyenko, during the meeting they discussed the events that the President Administration is working on, “First of all, this concerned a range of this year’s events, the socio-political issues, and the issues of working with personnel. The topic of planning the President’s schedule for 2024, as well as significant events that are to be held next year, were also under discussion.”

The President Administration Head clarified that training and work with the personnel reserve at all levels (primarily in relation to officials included in the Head of State’s personnel reserve) and effective areas for working with youth in order to highlight the most capable and talented children were also tackled.

Speaking about preparations and conduct at a high organisational level of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, Igor Sergeyenko recalled that the country has created and approved the composition of the Republican Organising Committee for Preparation and Holding of the Celebration, headed by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.

“Preparation work has been organised across all areas, and meetings of the organising committee have already taken place. Events in the Gomel and partly Mogilev regions are launched this autumn. Large-scale events will take place next year. Separate proposals have been prepared, taking into account the opinions of the regions, and work is being carried out. I’m sure these events should make a splash!” concluded the Head of the Belarus President Administration.
