No more swelling ever: can that be true? It can be your reality if you follow these three steps recommended by Sergei Gorbatko, experienced fitness coach and weight loss expert.
Already tried everything to reduce swelling, but nothing worked? Follow these three tried-and-true steps.
First and foremost, do not use diuretics: drink more water instead. It might seem counterintuitive, but the way our body functions is that when our fluid intake is reduced, it tries to store it instead of discharging it. If there’s enough fluid in the body, on the other hand, it gets rid of the excess easily. Consume enough proteins with your food every day: albumin is great for maintaining your electrolyte balance. Albumin deficit causes swelling (lack of the protein upsets the balance),” explained the expert.
“Lack of sleep causes stress which, in turn, leads to accumulation of fluids in the body. Sufficient amounts of sleep may vary from person to person, the key is to get enough rest,” he said.
