MTZ considering possibility of organising assembly of Belarusian tractors in Vietnam

The Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) is considering the possibility of organising the assembly production of BELARUS tractors in Vietnam, MTZ’s official Telegram channel reports

“MTZ Director General Vitaly Vovk has discussed the immediate prospects for the development of this direction with the director of Vietnam’s New Atlantic International Trading JSC in Minsk,” the company informed.

MTZ noted that according to the results of tests of the BELARUS 451 tractor in Vietnam, the Belarusian company is working on the possibility of assembling this model of equipment.

“The Vietnamese company is keen to assemble tractors for their subsequent sale not only on its territory, but also in other countries of Southeast Asia,” Yulia Arabei, the Deputy Head of MTZ’s Department for Promotion and Sales of Goods to non-CIS countries for Work in the Markets of Southeast Asia and the Middle East, noted after the meeting.

The Minsk Tractor Works is one of the leaders in the global agricultural machinery industry. Founded on May 29th, 1946, it produces tractors, utility vehicles, equipment for winter sports, universal chassis, forestry machines, etc. The company employs about 16 thousand people. The Minsk Tractor Works is the management company of MTZ-Holding, registered on August 1st, 2014. Alongside the parent company, the holding structure unites 14 open joint-stock companies.
