Lukashenko to Yakutia Head: everything we agree on will be done accurately and on time in all directions
Belarus-Yakutia co-operation should not be limited only to economy – as stated by Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko during his today’s meeting with Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) of the Russian Federation Aisen Nikolayev
The Head of State noted that humanitarian liaisons and participation in sports competitions are no less active areas of interaction. The President recalled that the Belarusian sports delegation successfully performed at the Children of Asia International Games, held in Yakutia. The Belarusian leader drew attention to the fact that the Yakuts are very fond of sports, and not only certain sports peculiar to this people, but also all traditional sports that are developing in the world.
“That’s why we have a lot of sport disciplines where we can compete with you. If you teach us about your peculiar sports, we will be very grateful to you,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.
The President thanked Aisen Nikolayev for his interest in our country and willingness to work with Belarus, despite the considerable distance.
“I guarantee that everything we agree on today will be done accurately and on time in all directions,” the Belarusian leader said.
