Lukashenko instructed to create conditions, enabling people to buy land and build housing in villages
Today, when President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has been reported on the development of the national highway network and the formation of transport infrastructure that would provide an hour-long travel to satellite cities, the Head of State instructed to create conditions, enabling people to buy land in rural areas and build housing there
“We should encourage our Belarusians to buy land plots in rural areas, unpromising villages or farmsteads. After all, it is almost half a hectare of land. There are many plots where people have never lived, but it is possible to build housing there. There are enough rich people, as well as those, who want to build housing in rural areas, enabling their children to walk barefoot on the grass every year. We should encourage them to do so and create appropriate conditions,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
According to him, this should be stipulated in the new state programme on housing construction for the next five years.
