Lukashenko: before invading Kursk Region, Ukrainian military called home in a hurry and said farewell to their families

Before invading the Kursk Region of Russia, Ukrainian servicemen called home and said goodbye to their relatives – as noted by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko in an extended version of his interview with Rossiya TV channel (broadcast by Belarus 1 TV channel), BelTA reports

"We know for sure that Ukrainians – when going to the front – say farewell to everyone. When attacking near Kursk, all Ukrainians called home in a hurry and said goodbye to their relatives. Those heading to Kursk said farewell to their families at home," the President noted. “Why are you abandoning these people? They are actually dying uselessly. They understand the futility."

As previously reported, Aleksandr Lukashenko stated in the interview that there had been no non-professionals among the Ukrainian fighters who attacked the Kursk Region. They had been gathered from all over the line of contact, and they were mostly experienced men who had already passed through the war.

"Naturally, the military and Putin will die themselves, but they will throw the Ukrainian military from there. With this in view, the question arises: why did they go there? Did they go to bury the most trained fighters? They actually gathered the best [soldiers]. What will happen in other sectors of the front?” the Head of State wondered.
