Welcoming the parliamentarian, the Head of State noted, “It's a pleasure to meet you today. Actually, it has taken a long time for you to come to Belarus after my invitation. I am very glad that you have come to the hero city of Minsk in the year of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations. Today, as we have recently agreed with your Prime Minister, we want to review our relations and bring them to an even higher level than it was before. In this regard, we have agreed to develop a joint plan, a roadmap for 2025-2027 and identify the main directions of our co-operation. I would really like the parliamentarians of our countries to be involved in the creation of this plan.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that, by creating this roadmap, Belarus and Pakistan will have to carry out an audit of bilateral regulatory legal acts, agreements, memoranda, and contracts. “In this part, the deputies could contribute to a better development of the roadmap,” he added.

Taking the opportunity, the President also thanked the Pakistani side for supporting Belarus in the United Nations and in its joining the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation. “We have established good relations in these and other international organisations to support each other. It is necessary to continue this policy and strengthen it. Belarus is ready for this," Aleksandr Lukashenko stated.
