Equatorial Guinea’s FM revealed details of his meeting with Lukashenko

The Belarusian side, thanks to available technologies, will be able to diversify the economic development of Equatorial Guinea, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Diaspora of Equatorial Guinea, Simeón Oyono Esono Angue, told reporters, when commenting on the results of his meeting with the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko

First of all, the diplomat noted that he conveyed to the Belarusian leader a personal message from the President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, which speaks about the strengthening and further development of relations, friendship and co-operation between the two countries. Moreover, the message also contains an invitation to Aleksandr Lukashenko to visit Equatorial Guinea.

“During the meeting, we discussed issues of bilateral interaction, as well as the results of the work of the Joint Commission on Trade-Economic Co-operation, the first meeting of which we completed with my colleague Sergei Aleinik. The mutually beneficial projects that we discussed today cover such areas as industry, healthcare, agriculture and food, training and retraining of personnel and others,” said Simeón Oyono Esono Angue.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Diaspora of Equatorial Guinea underlined that Belarus boasts advanced technologies that the African country does not have, “As part of the meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade-Economic Co-operation, we’ve agreed that the Belarusian side, thanks to available technologies, will be able to diversify Equatorial Guinea’s economic development.”
