World's largest Victory Banner unfurled at Minsk’s Mound of Glory
A joint patriotic campaign of the Unconquered international project – uniting Russian ANO Zvezda and Minsk’s Regional Executive Committee – took place on the Mound of Glory near the Belarusian capital. About 500 participants unfurled the world's largest Victory Banner – a symbol of memory, courage and perseverance of our peoples.
“It took more than two weeks for 35 people to sew this 65x35m banner. It weighs almost two hundredweight, so it was transported on shoulders of the special banner group’s strongest participants,” the head of the Unconquered project, Vladimir Skripnichenko, explained. “We will apply to the Guinness Book of Records. We really want this banner to become a record holder.”
