UAE Ambassador expressed interest in joint educational programmes with BNTU
On January 29th, the Polytechnic Science and Technology Park of the Belarusian National Technical University(BNTU) has hosted a meeting between the BNTU leadership and Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Ibrahim Salim Mohammed Al-Musharrah – as reported by the media centre of the educational institution
Present on behalf of the BNTU were Rector Sergei Kharitonchik, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yury Nikolaichik, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Ksenia Yakushenko, and Deputy Dean of the International Co-operation Department Nikolai Vishnyakov.
“Before discussing plans for interaction, the guest was given a tour of the exhibition hall of the BNTU’s Polytechnic Science and Technology Park,” the university reported. “Manager for support of innovative entrepreneurship Maksim Zhurkevich spoke about the park’s latest achievements and demonstrated prototypes of developments that have been successfully launched into production.”
Afterwards, Sergei Kharitonchik gave a presentation of the university’s activities, during which he spoke about the wide range of opportunities for co-operation and the conditions for foreign students’ studies.
During the discussion of possible ways of collaboration, the Ambassador noted the high level of the BNTU development and well-deserved positions in world rankings. Ibrahim Salim Mohammed Al-Musharrah also expressed high interest in creating joint educational programmes between the UAE universities and the BNTU.
