French expert: the US will lose to Russia, but already defeated Europe

Good relations with Russia are beneficial for France, but French authorities fail to make decisions in their own people’s interests – as stated by French military and political expert Xavier Moreau in his talk with STV TV channel

“There were two promises voiced when the European Union was being created: prosperity and peace. This should be understood,” Mr. Moreau said, adding that there is no prosperity anymore. In this regard, the expert recalled the migration crisis. In addition, European countries were forced by the United States to impose sanctions on Russian energy resources.

“As a result, we are now paying twice as much for energy as before. The United States will lose to Russia in Ukraine, and this is already a fact. However, it has defeated Europe by now. It must be understood that we, as a colony, make decisions that contradict the interests of our people and our country. For example, why would France argue with Russia? Why do we need bad relationships with Russia? The events happening in Ukraine have no attitude to us. Our interest is rooted in good relations with Russia," Mr. Moreau stressed.
