Sabalenka beat Rybakina at UAE exhibition
Aryna Sabalenka (WTA No.1) is taking part in an exhibition tennis tournament in Abu Dabi. Today, December 19th, the Belarusian star won both her matches.

First, together with Mirra Andreeva (Russia), Aryna won a doubles match against Caroline Garcia (France) and Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan) 7:6 (7:5), and next beat the same Elena Rybakina (WTA No.6) 7:6 (7:3).
In her singles match, the WTA No.1 wasted a five games’ advantage allowing Rybakina to draw even at 5:5 and take the match into a tiebreak, but was still able to win in the end.
The four team World Tennis League tournament will conclude on December 22nd. After the round robin stage, the two best teams will fight for the main prize in the finals. Aryna Sabalenka is on the Hawks team that includes, in addition to her and Andreeva, Sumit Nagal (India) and Jordan Thompson (Australia). The competition has also attracted other top level stars like Iga Swiatek (Poland), Jasmine Paolini (Italy), Andrey Rublev (Russia), Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece), Casper Ruud (Norway), etc.
