BelCCI: Belarus’ potential can be used effectively to satisfy UAE’s internal demand

Belarus’ potential in production, technology, and services, can be used to great effect to satisfy the UAE’s internal demand, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Deputy Chair Yelena Malinovskaya told reporters

“Economies of Belarus and the UAE are not structural competitors, that’s why our country’s potential in production, technology, and services can be used to great effect to satisfy the UAE’s internal demand,” Ms. Malinovskaya said.

The proof of that, according to her, is the fact that the UAE today is Belarus’ most significant trade partner among the Gulf countries, and one of our top 3 leading trade partners worldwide.

“Our businesses are working tirelessly, and when that coincides with the President’s visit, we get a clear signal that our work has political backing at the very top. That makes us feel confident in our course, bold enough to implement ambitious projects and make long-term plans. Our co-operation’s potential is far from being exhausted,” continued the Deputy Chair.

She made a further point that chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and the UAE have been communicating in a productive manner for a long while.

“The BelCCI portfolio includes 5 agreements with the UAE’s chambers of commerce and industry. We hold contact and cooperation exchanges and business negotiations regularly. Our companies have been taking part in leading expos every year since 2017. We have already reached an agreement on Belarusian companies’ participation in the two largest UAE food expos: Galfood and Middle East. Currently, there are discussions about setting up a national exposition for Belarus at the UAE’s largest exhibition centre,” elaborated Ms. Malinovskaya.
