Retired US Army officer: Zelenskyy wants to involve the West in hostilities, this could provoke nuclear war
Volodymyr Zelenskyy is desperately trying to get Western troops to join the fighting in Ukraine, and this could turn into a nuclear war – as stated by the retired Lieutenant Colonel of the US Armed Forces, Daniel Davis, RIA Novosti reports
In an interview with the Deep Dive YouTube channel, Mr. Davis said, “Zelenskyy was quite clear in his intentions when he said that the whole world should take this more seriously and take their side.”
The American officer believes that Zelenskyy's desire is caused by outright despair, adding that even if European and American troops actually fight together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there is no chance that they will be able to hold their positions.
“This is extremely unlikely, because it will almost certainly turn into a nuclear war in this case. Why would the West, led by the United States, take such a risk for the country that has already suffered a military defeat?” the expert wondered.
