Refugee corpse found on Belarus-Poland border
Polish migration policy has killed another refugee, Belarus’ State Border Committee reports in its Telegram channel
Another corpse of a foreigner, a citizen of Yemen (according to the documents he had), was found on the border with Poland.
"While Western politicians are legitimising the brutality and violence of European security forces and seeking opportunities to erect new EU-funded fences, refugees continue to die on the borders of ‘democratic Europe’,” the State Border Committee said.
An investigative task force went to the scene.
According to the source, this was the third death of a refugee on the border with Poland since January 1st, 2023.
“Since the beginning of the migration crisis, 13 foreigners have become victims of the Polish migration policy,” the State Border Committee added.
