Rally against supply of weapons and possible sending of troops to Ukraine held in Paris
A demonstration against the supply of weapons to the Kiev regime and the possible sending of Western troops to Ukraine took place on the Palais Royal Square next to the Louvre Museum in the historical centre of Paris, TASS reports
It is informed that several hundred people took part in the rally. They held posters with the slogans: ‘No to apocalypse’, ‘Zelenskyy, return the money!’, ‘Stop NATO’, ‘For peace’, ‘We do not want to die for Ukraine’. Similar actions were held in 15 cities of the country.
Florian Philippot, the leader of the French Patriots party, at whose call the protest was organised, shared his opinion that, after the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States, ‘some people got captured by a desire to accelerate the escalation up to the Third World War’. The politician stressed that attacks by Western weapons on Russian territory and the Franco-British plan to send troops to Ukraine arouse concern. “There should be no play with that,” he added.
The politician demanded an urgent withdrawal of France from NATO and the EU, he believes these organisations ‘seek war’.
