Lukashenko told what determines the place of Belarus and Russia in new system of international co-ordinates

The place of Belarus and Russia in the new system of international co-ordinates depends on the success and result of all issues of the Union State building – as stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, during the talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in an extended format

In particular, the Head of State stressed, “Difficult times require from us political will and focus on the results across all topics of the bilateral agenda. This is our answer.”

The President is convinced that this is very important in the current realities, “How successful we are in this work determines the place that our countries will secure for themselves tomorrow in the new system of international co-ordinates. In no case should we repeat the mistakes made after the collapse of the Soviet Union.”

The Belarusian leader also outlined an important priority in the relationship between the two countries, “Therefore, our unconditional priority is the settlement of sensitive economic issues on which the well-being of the population depends and, ultimately, the support of our reforms in the public and political spheres.”
