Addressing Yuri Nazarov, Aleksandr Lukashenko said, “Yuri Viktorovich, let’s briefly discuss the results and, above all, the failures. I’m aware about the achievements, but what about the drawbacks? You suggested discussing the personnel, alongside other issues that you cannot settle without me.”

As Yuri Nazarov reported, in general, the Property Management Directorate did a good job, but in assessing the situation at its final board, they tackled each enterprise and identified existing shortcomings.

“We’ve looked at specific enterprises rather than the situation as a whole,” said Yuri Nazarov.

After the report to the President, Yuri Nazarov told reporters about the tasks set by the Head of State. In particular, they discussed the Property Management Directorate’s final board, as well as how the enterprises included in the structure started this year, “We started 2024 positively. The only issue that we are taking more control over is the export of goods and services. We have good growth dynamics with exports of services (tourism, health resort treatment), though there are certain problems with exports of goods. We know how to solve them and will correct the situation.”

The Property Management Directorate will also focus on ensuring comfortable conditions during the transition period for the Belarusian Parliament. On Aleksandr Lukashenko’s behalf, project documentation is being developed for the reconstruction of the Government House’s right wing.

Yuri Nazarov said, “Times are changing, and the moment has come when it is necessary to modernise.”

Yuri Nazarov also noted that personnel issues were also discussed. A range of proposals will be made to the Head of State to fill vacancies, including managerial, that currently exist in the system of the Property Management Directorate.
