“From the first days of the special service creation, security officers were at the forefront of protecting the state, defending its sovereignty and independence, demonstrating exceptional fortitude, determination and courage in the fight against the enemy, and showing an example of true patriotism,” the congratulatory message reads.
“Today, continuing the glorious traditions of the Belarusian special service, you are fighting on the frontline hidden from people’s eyes, in the face of new hybrid threats to national security that are unprecedented in scale. The results of your work contribute to the adoption of important political decisions, largely determining the future of the Motherland, and therefore the fate of millions of citizens,” the President added.
Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked the KGB personnel for their high professionalism, impeccable work style and full dedication. He is convinced that, responding to the challenges of the time, these people will do everything to strengthen the country's position in the changing world order, preserving peace and stability in their native land.
The Head of State addressed special thanks to the veterans of the state security agencies: all those who made an invaluable contribution to the approach of the Great Victory, who preserved the best traditions and passed them on to future generations, forming the modern look of the special service.
The President sincerely wished the staff and veterans of the State Security Committee happiness and prosperity, health and optimism, as well as new successes and achievements in the name of Belarus.
