Lukashenko: Belarus, UAE able to fully realise potential of co-operation through joint efforts

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated President of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of this country on National Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Based on the rich heritage of the country's founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the United Arab Emirates, under your leadership, is confidently moving into the future, strengthening human potential and its role in the region and the world," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State noted that the results of his recent meeting with the President of the UAE in Baku convincingly demonstrate that, through joint efforts, the parties will be able to fully realise the existing potential of co-operation in the political, trade, economic, investment sectors and successfully complete a number of joint projects, continue fruitful interaction within international formats, including BRICS.

"To discuss in detail the possibilities of expanding bilateral relations and giving a new impetus to our partnership, I will be glad to meet with you in Abu Dhabi or Minsk in the near future," the Belarusian leader added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also sent a congratulatory message to the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

"Your country is an example of peaceful and constructive development, balanced and prudent approaches to solving urgent international problems. Thanks to the efforts of the leadership, a comfortable environment has been created in the UAE for the realisation of human potential and effective economic activity. Sincere respect is due to the hard work of the Emirates in the field of advanced technologies, in particular in space exploration, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, logistics and infrastructure," the President of Belarus stressed.

The Head of State noted that the Belarusian-Emirati relations are characterised by an active political dialogue, mutually beneficial co-operation in trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian sectors. "Based on the principles of equality and respect, the spirit of friendship and partnership, we will be able to achieve important joint results," Aleksandr Lukashenko stated.
