Lukashenko: Belarus, Iran to interact more intensively to resist unfriendly attacks

Belarus and Iran should work more closely with each other in the face of sanctions pressure and attacks from unfriendly countries – as noted by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, during his today’s meeting with the First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Mokhber

The Head of State stressed, “The most important aspect – taking into consideration the experience of our relations with Iran, many years of co-operation – is that your and our bureaucracy need to learn how to work really quickly. If we agree on something, then this must be executed on time.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasised that not sanctions and pressure matter most of all now, but time, “We should in no case lose this time due to some bureaucratic obstacles.” As noted by the Belarusian leader, this is especially relevant considering the situation in the world, which is heating up.

“The Middle East crisis contributes to the fact that unfriendly countries (the United States and the West) constantly direct the edge of this conflict against Iran. We have only one response: we should work more closely with each other, co-operate to resist these attacks,” the Head of State added.
