Lukashenko: Belarus-Algeria relations reached new level and bilateral co-operation continues to strengthen
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Algeria Abdelmajid Tebboune and his compatriots on the significant date — the 70th anniversary of the Glorious Liberation Revolution, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“This day in the history of your country symbolises the steadfastness, courage and unwavering will of the people to build an independent state, reminding of the sacrifices and difficulties that had to be overcome to gain sovereignty. Belarusians honour the memory of the heroes who made an invaluable contribution to the formation of independent Algeria,” the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State noted with satisfaction that Belarusian-Algerian relations have reached a new level, and bilateral co-operation continues to strengthen.
“‘We are ready to help with your initiatives to establish a grain hub, a fertiliser hub, to reach food self-sufficiency in Algeria, as well as provide support in other sectors,” the President stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Abdelmajid Tebboune and all Algerian citizens stability and further prosperity, “May Revolution Day always be a source of pride and inspiration for future generations of Algerians.”
