Lukashenko about Putin in interview with NBC: absolutely reasonable, healthy, and fit person
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, in an interview with the American NBC TV company answered the question of how his relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin are developing now, BelTA reports
“If we talk about our personal relations with President Putin, well, they were not always cloudless. You know that we argued and quarrelled at times, but as the closest friends and reliable partners. As I once said, no one boasts such a level of relationships as between the presidents of Belarus and Russia. This is, firstly. Secondly, recently our relations have only intensified and strengthened. We absolutely trust each other. Therefore, there are practically no problems in communication,” the Belarusian leader said.
The NBC journalist also asked the Belarusian Head of State to describe the current state of Vladimir Putin, what he thinks about. “This is not what you think in the West and in the USA. He is an absolutely reasonable, healthy, and fit person. As you see it externally. He is an absolutely reasonable person,” the President of Belarus assured.
