According to the ČTK News Agency, the country’s courts had to postpone the consideration of a large number of pending cases. It is noted that administrative workers in many cases refrain from performing their duties, including those related to public appeals.

It is also clarified that the strike was initiated by the Trade Union of Judicial Employees, and Justice Minister Pavel Blazek recognised the fairness of the demands of administrative staff of the courts for salary increases. He also assured that the authorities had developed a solution that should meet the demands of the strike participants.
