Law enforcement officers of Belarus, Vietnam signed 2024-2025 co-operation plan
The visit of the Belarusian Interior Ministry’s delegation led by the Deputy Minister – Criminal Militia Head, Gennady Kazakevich, to Vietnam ended
As reported by the Interior Ministry, working meetings with the leadership of Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security were held as part of the visit, and they resulted in the signing of a co-operation plan in the field of preventing and combating transnational crime for 2024-2025.
Mr. Kazakevich thanked the host party represented by the Deputy Minister of Public Security of Vietnam, Major General Nguyen Van Long, for the invitation and noted the highest level of co-operation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries. He expressed confidence in the mutual desire for further development of the partnership and added, “The fight against terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, countering crimes in the field of high technology, illegal migration, and personnel training are the most relevant and promising areas of co-operation.”
During the visit, the Belarusian delegation members also got acquainted with the experience, material and technical equipment of the Vietnamese police units.
