Independence Palace hosted ceremony honouring graduates of higher military schools and high-ranking officers
Graduates of higher military schools and high-ranking officers were honoured at the Palace of Independence today, with the participation of the President. Aleksandr Lukashenko presented special letters of commendation to those who graduated from military educational institutions with excellent results. The Commander-in-Chief also presented general’s shoulder boards to representatives of the high-ranking officers.

In particular, the Major General’s shoulder boards were awarded to Dmitry Mikholap, Deputy Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence Command. The Head of the Minsk Regional Customs Service, Sergei Ivanov, was promoted to the rank of customs service state counsellor third class. Andrei Lyubimov and Eduard Malinovsky were promoted to the rank of Major General of Police and Major General of Justice respectively.
