Expert explained why Trump will not stop war in Ukraine if he becomes President
It does not matter who will win the US Presidential race: both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are hired managers who represent the interests of the US financial and industrial capital, focused on the exploitation of other countries – as stated by Aleksei Avdonin, an expert at the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies, in his talk with Alfa Radio
“The election race in the United States has entered a new stage: the approval period. Pay attention to what happened to Trump earlier: he was shot at and armed citizens – who were allegedly preparing assassination attempts – were detained before the start of his rallies. The situation has changed by now, and there is a feeling that there has been a certain process of co-ordination between the Democratic and Republican parties," the expert noted.
According to Mr. Avdonin, it does not actually matter who will win the US Presidential election. “Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are hired managers who represent the interests of the financial and industrial capital of the United States, focused on the exploitation of other countries. This is happening through the imposition of a Dollar model, where the cost of producing banknotes is minimal (for example, a $100 banknote costs only 12 cents), and the profit is huge. Both Trump and Harris will push this system further by using violence in other countries. We already see how the United States is putting pressure on the German economy: the Nord Stream was blown up, European states have been cut off from energy sources. Americans are forcing automakers and petrochemical companies to move production to the United States. Moreover, the US is trying to restrain China through sanctions and restrictions, and is continuing to destabilise the Middle East,” he explained.
The expert added that Donald Trump will not stop the hostilities in Ukraine, “Valuable resources are concentrated in Ukraine, including rare earth metals and uranium, which have already been purchased by American corporations. In addition, the conflict is weakening the EU economy, creating social and economic crises, holding Eastern Europe in suspense and undermining the international security system. That is why the Americans’ interests do not imply an end to the war.”
