Arab League aims to develop constructive dialogue with Belarus

The parties discussed in detail the current state and prospects for the development of co-operation between Belarus and the Arab League.

“Aleksandr Rogozhnik confirmed the relevance of the earlier invitation to the LAS Secretary General to visit Belarus,” the press service noted.

The Belarusian Ambassador also stressed the importance of developing dialogue with the Arab League as a whole and with its member countries. He added that Belarus is ready to share its experiencer in agriculture, which is especially important today in the context of ensuring food security. Another important aspect of co-operation was interaction in the field of education.

“Walid Shiltag confirmed the LAS’ commitment to developing a constructive dialogue with Belarus both in the mentioned areas and in other areas of mutual interest,” the press service reported.
