Expert explained why Trump deserved to win US election

The Presidential race in the US is over. Voters were choosing between Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party and Donald Trump who represents the Republicans. The latest news is that the US Congress has announced Trump as the next President. Talking to Alfa Radio, Vadim Gigin, House of Representatives MP and General Director of the National Library, explained why Trump’s win was deserved.

“Just compare his life, his campaign to the life and campaign of Kamala Harris. Trump is phenomenal… However, when we talk about him, we shouldn’t think he is our friend. Of course he isn’t: he’s not pro-Russian, or pro-Belarusian, nothing of the sort. He is a man who knows his own mind. He’s a puppet of oligarchs, same as Biden or Harris. All this talk about him being a working man’s President is ludicrous. A working man’s President is a billionaire! What a joke! He’s tied with the oligarchs, just like those before him. He’s a part of that system,” Mr. Gigin said.

He added, however, that Trump’s life is the life of a man who got to be President against the will of the party who nominated him.

The expert went on to explain, “Trump was nominated by the Republicans because there was simply no chance Democrats would consider him. Trump knows how to adapt. He’s a showman, and he promoted his showmanship into politics. See how he brought the entire Republican Party to rally behind him. Nothing of the sort has ever happened under any US president. He only lost in 2020 because COVID got him. Trump is a man whom the American establishment tried to forget, to erase his name from the information space, even to kill. No director, no screenwriter could have staged that photograph [after the attempt on Trump’s life]… He really is a political animal with amazing instincts. Remember how, when blood was trickling out of his ear, he raised his clenched fist and screamed ‘Fight!’? You can’t help but feel drawn to that man as a politician. Especially when you compare him to Biden, or Harris who has no achievements, nothing to show for herself, no political legacy, who can’t even hold it together for an hour-long interview. Trump’s main opponent was not Harris, but ‘never Trump’, in other words, his haters. The US is a country that does everything to turn public democracy into a show, and as a showman, Trump has no rivals there.”
