Deputy: Lukashenko recognised essence of systemic military crisis prepared for Belarus
The military preventive strategy and tactics determined by Belarus’ Commander-in-Chief were successful, as they brought the Ukrainian ideologists of the military conflict with Belarus out of the security zone – as noted by Vitaly Utkin, the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on Industry, Fuel and Energy Complex, Transport and Communications of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, when commenting on the decisions taken after the meeting with President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko on ensuring the country’s military security in the southern operational area, held on July 13th.
“I can confidently say that conducting a general set of actions of this military operation, our President Aleksandr Lukashenko recognised the essence of the systemic military crisis prepared for us: a bloody adventure on the part of the collective West. Now the Head of State, as in July 1994, has led the country and the Belarusian people away from the abyss of military conflict. Conducting military-tactical manipulations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near our borders enabled our opponents in the West to feel that serious consequences could arise as a result of our response,” the parliamentarian noted.
“The military psychological attack – planned by NATO generals – was shattered by Aleksandr Lukashenko’s strategic decisions in this direction and by the retaliatory actions of Belarus’ Armed Forces. Taking into account international norms of law, our President initially demonstrated the humanity and competence of the behaviour of the Belarusian Armed Forces. As part of an adequate tactic of military confrontation, our Polonez and Iskander missile systems moved to combat positions. By these actions, we indicated that we clearly understand the true intentions of our opponents (even though they tried to use military tricks to hide them). The military preventive strategy and tactics defined by our Commander-in-Chief were successful, as they brought the Ukrainian ideologists of the military conflict with Belarus out of the security zone,” Mr. Utkin underlined.
The parliamentarian is convinced that the events that took place caused a clear understanding in people’s minds: the Belarusian leader once again did not allow the country’s enemies to implement the worst-case scenario that they were preparing against the Belarusian people.
“The President demonstrated the continuity of good neighbourliness. If our relations develop in the direction of improving both political and economic relations, in this case ‘our armoured train’ will be on the siding,” Mr. Utkin added.
