Deputy: all Lukashenko’s forecasts on Ukraine came true, so Ukrainians better listen to his words

All the forecasts of Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko on Ukraine have come true, so Ukrainians should listen to the words of the Belarusian leader – as noted by Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives Oleg Gaidukevich in his talk with Alfa Radio

Offering to recall the President’s forecasts, the expert pointed out, “The Ukrainian authorities announced a ‘counteroffensive’, to which the Belarusian leader immediately declared that nothing would happen. And so it turned out. Aleksandr Lukashenko also warned that the Minsk Agreements should not be violated, otherwise there would be war. How much has he done to ensure that these agreements were honoured! But his words came true... The President also said that only Belarusians and Russians are worried about peace in Ukraine, and again his words became reality. The West shouted that it was a friend of Ukraine, but it financed the Maidan and did everything using its influence to unleash a war there. Today, our President doesn’t use general phrases when talking about Ukraine, but clearly indicates how to achieve peace, offering a concrete mechanism. Many world leaders repeat now what our President has said before. All his forecasts on Ukraine have come true. If I were Ukrainians, I would listen to him. He wishes them well, as does our whole country. We want peace, normal neighbourly relations, we do not want our brotherly Ukrainian people to die and live badly. Instead, we want Ukrainians to be independent and decide their own fate. If that were the case, this conflict would never have happened.”
