Denmark is ready to create centres for illegal migrants in third countries – as stated by Danish Minister for European Affairs Marie Bjerre, TASS reports

In an interview with Helsingin Sanomat, Ms. Bjerre noted, “Denmark is now open to various models, such as return and reception centres in third countries, including in Africa, for example. It is important that the decisions be European, because the efforts of one small country will not get far."

Earlier, Denmark took the initiative to send a letter to the European Commission on behalf of 15 countries calling for new solutions to combat illegal migration in Europe. According to the publication, Finland was among them.
