British Defence Secretary expects US aid to Ukraine to continue under Trump

Defence Secretary John Healey said the British government expects the US to continue providing aid to Ukraine once Donald Trump takes the office, TASS reports
“President Trump recognises that countries get security through strength, just as alliances like NATO do, and I expect the US to remain alongside allies like the UK, standing with Ukraine for as long as it takes,” Mr. Healey said in his interview with Sky News.

The Defence Secretary added that he doesn’t expect the US to ‘turn away’ from the North Atlantic Alliance.
