Belarus’ wrestlers earned five medals at international tournament in Smolensk
The all-Russian men’s freestyle wrestling competitions in memory of USSR Master of Sports Leonid Alekseyuk have finished in Smolensk, bringing together over 300 Belarusian and Russian athletes, Belarus’ Sports and Tourism Ministry reports in its Telegram channel
Belarusian athletes have claimed five medals (1-1-3): Vladislav Kirilyuk earned victory in the weight category of up to 125kg while Nikita Savitsky (57kg) clinched silver. Gerbert Akopyan (57kg), Aleksei Misochenko (79kg) and Valery Grinkevich (125 kg) won bronze medals.
