Belarus to intensify co-operation with China’s special administrative regions
Belarus’ Consul General in Hong Kong Tatiana Kharlap has met with the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, He Yicheng, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The two sides discussed issues of enhancing liaisons between Belarus and Macau, certain projects in trade, education, and tourism, cultural exchanges, the formation of a legal framework for co-operation, and the organisation of mutual visits. Moreover, Belarus’ commitment to the One China principle and its focus on intensifying interaction with China’s special administrative regions were confirmed.
He Yicheng noted the untapped potential for co-operation with Belarus, the openness of the Macau market for Belarusian goods and services, readiness to develop ties with Belarusian regions and invited to participate in international events held in Macau.
