Lukashenko held number of international phone calls

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has held today a range of international telephone conversations, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The Head of State received phone calls from foreign leaders: President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Telephone conversations also took place with Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev and Chairperson of the Federation Council of Russia’s Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko.

The issues of the development of bilateral relations and the upcoming summit in early October were discussed. The interlocutors also congratulated Aleksandr Lukashenko on his upcoming birthday.
