Belarus. The Taste of Nature exposition presented in Hong Kong
The exposition of Belarusian manufacturers – Belarus. The Taste of Nature – prepared by the Belinterexpo unitary enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is presented as part of Food Expo HKDTC in Hong Kong
The grand opening was held with the participation of the Consul General of Belarus in Hong Kong, Tatiana Kharlap. Among the first honoured guests who visited the Belarusian exposition as part of the presentation tour were Director General of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Patrick Yeung Wai-tim and Executive Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Industries Anthony Lam.
Hong Kong, which is one of the world's leading trade and financial centres, annually hosts hundreds of representatives of trading companies and brands from all continents from 26 countries to present new food products as part of the Food Expo HKDTC exhibition. The latter provides unique opportunities for demonstration and tasting of new delicacies and dishes from representatives and participants of the food forum.
Among the large-scale country pavilions of the exhibition are Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Mexico, provinces and regions of mainland China, including Fujian, Guizhou, Hunan, Sichuan, and Zhejiang. Some locations represent European countries, including the Republic of Belarus.
The region is the 54th largest market for Belarusian goods, within which dairy products, meat and edible offal of poultry are in particular demand.
“The Belarusian trade and economic presence in the market of the People's Republic of China is consistently and effectively developing, and the geography of co-operation between domestic manufacturers and Chinese representatives and companies is expanding, attracting new partners to a mutually beneficial dialogue,” Belinterexpo Director Natalia Kurash noted.
Four Belarusian enterprises are presented at Food Expo, which will last until August 17th and bring together a number of business platforms for mentoring, case studies of co-operation and dialogue events with the participation of Belarusian representatives.
