The official meeting between Belarus’ Education Minister Andrei Ivanets and Tatarstan’s Minister of Education and Science Ilsur Khadiullin focused on the most promising areas of co-operation. These include the exchange of educational technologies and teaching methods, pedagogical experience, intensification of activities on the development and implementation of joint educational and research projects and programmes, organisation and holding of joint scientific, practical and educational events on issues of mutual interest, as well as holding joint historical and civil-patriotic events, gatherings and forums, implementation of other activities in the field of youth policy and civic-patriotic education.
“The spheres of education, science and youth policy are among the priorities in co-operation between our country and one of the most socially and economically developed regions of Russia. Colleagues are just as interested in improving the quality of education as we are. The guests are familiarising themselves with Belarus’ experience at all levels of the national education system: kindergartens, schools, colleges. For example, they have already visited the National Children’s Technopark and BSU,” the Education Ministry noted.
Currently, 36 educational institutions of Belarus liaise with educational and scientific organisations of Tatarstan under 62 agreements, seven of which were signed this year. They involve participation in various internship and professional development programmes, as well as the exchange of information in the field of scientific research.
