Poll: over 60% of Britons opposed Ukraine’s creation of nuclear weapons

More than 60 percent of UK residents believe that Ukraine should not be allowed to develop its own nuclear weapons – as evidenced by the results of a study conducted by the Yougov company, RIA Novosti reports

According to the results of the study, 62 percent of respondents oppose allowing Ukraine to develop nuclear weapons. Of these, 38 percent strongly opposed it.

18 percent of those polled supported the idea of Ukraine creating nuclear weapons. Some of the participants were unable to answer the question.

The study was conducted on November 14th, interviewing a total of 5,169 Britons. The data on the margin of error are not given.
