Belarus’ Embassy in Ankara hosted event dedicated to National Unity Day
An event dedicated to National Unity Day was held at the Belarusian Embassy in Ankara, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkiye Viktor Rybak delivered a speech, focusing on the importance of preserving historical memory and truth to strengthen unity and dialogue in society, while giving specific examples.
The head of the foreign diplomatic mission paid special attention to interactive communication and interaction with children, which gave the event an even warmer and more welcoming character, contributing to the creation of a relaxed and friendly atmosphere of communication between those present.
The event was actively attended by family members of Olga Ozal, the Chairperson of the Board of the Kocaeli Society of Belarusians and Russian-speaking Compatriots.
The co-organisers from among the embassy staff and their family members prepared and presented traditional Belarusian dishes for tasting.
During the event, an exposition was organised representing the historical and cultural heritage, natural wealth and achievements of modern Belarus. In addition, songs by Pesnyary and Syabry bands were performed, alongside compositions by modern Belarusian singers.
