Belarus, Egypt discussed development of inter-university co-operation

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Terentiev, met with the President of the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Ismail Abdel Ghafar, the Belarusian diplomatic mission reports

The parties discussed the state of the Belarusian-Arab inter-university co-operation. Ismail Abdel Ghafar expressed the Academy's readiness to continue liaisons with Belarusian universities, in particular, with the Belarusian State University and the Belarusian State Medical University in priority areas such as applied mathematics, IT, AI, and medicine.

Proposals for co-operation in the field of environmental protection were submitted through institutions subordinate to Belarus’ Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and the National Academy of Sciences.
