Belarus, China discuss co-operation in medicine
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China, Yuri Senko, visited the Beijing Institute of Biological Products at the invitation of Sinopharm CEO, Liu Jingzhen – as informed by the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Beijing
The Beijing Institute of Biological Products is engaged in production of various medical products, including the inactivated COVID-19 vaccine: Vero Cell. As reported by the Belarusian Embassy in the People's Republic of China, this year, 3.4m doses of this vaccine have already been delivered to Belarus.
During their meeting, the sides discussed further concrete steps to develop co-operation in the field of vaccines, medicines and medical equipment.
