Bastrykin on details of his meeting with Lukashenko
Chairman of Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin shed light on the details of his conversation with President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko today
During the meeting with the Belarusian leader, Aleksandr Bastrykin elaborated on two areas of work of Russia’s Investigative Committee. One of them deals with the special military operation – in particular, the investigation of the crimes of the Kiev regime.
“They [Ukrainian authorities] commit serious crimes against civilians, children, and the elderly. In the Investigative Committee, we have created four new departments in this territory. Unfortunately, our investigators are also dying, but we continue to work hard. I have reported on this,” he told journalists after the meeting.
Alexander Bastrykin called the growth of migration crime another problem, “Unfortunately, this problem is becoming more acute in Russia, due to the arrival of migrants with families and children. I have shared our experience. The State Duma of Russia is now making many decisions on this issue, and I have informed about our experience. Aleksandr Lukashenko listened attentively. Probably, the leadership of Belarus will draw the appropriate conclusions from the point of view of preventing a possible increase in migration crime in Belarus.”
