Sergeyenko: election process being used by opponents of integration to make unfounded accusations
During the 67th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus’ National Assembly Igor Sergeyenko invited the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly to take part in the observation of the Presidential election in Belarus
“The most important area of our activity is to ensure electoral sovereignty, objective and unbiased monitoring of elections. It is the election process that is used by opponents of integration in the post-Soviet space for unfounded accusations, various kinds of fakes and interference in internal affairs. On January 26th, 2025, Belarus will host a landmark political event for the country and the people: the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus. We look forward to seeing the Parliamentary Assembly delegation among the international observers,” Mr. Sergeyenko noted.
